The start of 2014. I started a new direction as I try to each year. This year I wanted to just paint solo as much as possible and do every piece on a black wall. This piece was a little crazy though – the winter lay off had me second guessing myself and a little technically rusty. It took almost 7 hours to do this…definitely not my normal pace.
